How do I administer it?

You will give yourself the injection once a week. The needle is so small, you will barely feel it.

How do I start?

Call the clinic. We will review all contraindications and BMI requirements to make sure you are a good candidate for this medication before coming in. If you are a good candidate, then we will schedule an appointment with our Nurse Practitioner. We have programs available that range from 4 weeks to 16 weeks to start with. During this time our provider will titrate your dose depending on your progress so we can achieve your goal.

How long can I be on the program?

There is no maximum time frame for this medication. The length of time you are on this program will vary for every individual. Obesity is a chronic condition and many patients are on this medication for 6-12 months or longer while others reach their goal in shorter time frames.
